Booking Terms and Conditions
BOOKING
The party leader should complete a Booking Form, with all relevant details, including any special requests. This form will be taken as your acceptance of our terms and conditions. It must be signed by the party leader o n behalf of the whole party. We also require a deposit of 25% of the total cost to reserve the property for you. If you book less than eight weeks prior to the rental agreement commencement date, full payment will be required o n booking. We reserve the right not to accept bookings from single sex groups, or to charge an additional security deposit.
Your contract with Sunflower Homes is made when you receive our written confirmation. Please check this carefully, to ensure that all details are correct. The balance must be paid eight weeks prior to the commencement of the rental agreement. The party leader will be responsible for payment for everyone named o n the booking, even if some names were added after the original booking was made. If you do not pay the balance by the due date, we have the right to cancel your booking.
CHANGES MADE TO YOUR BOOKING
BY YOU Wherever possible we will help you to make alterations to your booking if these become necessary. Administration charges may apply.
CANCELLATION We can only accept a cancellation from the party leader, this should be in writing. Cancellations before the eight week period will incur the loss of your booking fee and the remainder of your monies, if applicable will be refunded. Any cancellations made after the eight week period will be liable to further charges as below:

CHANGES MADE TO YOUR BOOKING BY US In the event of unforeseen circumstances, Sunflower Homes may be forced to cancel, alter or amend a holiday booking and reserves the right to do so. If your booking is affected by changes we will do our best to notify you as soon as it reasonably possible.
If accommodation has to be changed we will endeavor to provide similar accommodation of an equivalent, or higher standard. If the cost of the alternative is higher you will be asked to pay the difference. If it is lower, you will be refunded the difference. If we are not able to provide a suitable property, you will be entitled to cancel your booking, when all monies paid to us in respect of the property rental will be refunded in full and final satisfaction of all claims against us in respect of your booking. Administration charges may apply.
BUILDING WORK & DISRUPTION TO SERVICES Sunflower Homes takes great pains to ensure that the information given in property descriptions is accurate and is regularly updated. However, sometimes changes outside our control may occur during the period between preparation of our details and your holiday. There is always a possibility of development in tourist areas, and we cannot accept any liability for any inconvenience caused by building works or associated noise being carried out by third parties in the vicinity of the holiday property booked.
Such work is not under our control, nor do we receive advance notice of when it will begin. If we do, we will notify you as soon as possible and you will be entitled to transfer to an alternative property at the advertised price. Sunflower Homes cannot be held liable for the need to relocate you to alternative accommodation if this necessity arises due to floods, fire or earthquake. Similarly, any out of pocket expenses which may result shall not be the responsibility of Sunflower Homes and you should ensure that your travel insurance contains adequate catastrophe cover.
APARTMENT / DUPLEX / VILLA Holiday properties are normally available for occupancy from 2pm on the day of arrival and should be vacated by 10am o n the day of departure. This is to allow adequate time for cleaning and maintenance between lets. The accommodation provided is o nly for the use of clients shown o n the booking form, and subletting, sharing or assignment is prohibited.
It is the duty of the party leader to ensure that his party does not cause nuisance or annoyance to the owner, or to the occupants of adjoining property, or do anything that might invalidate any insurance policies which may be effected o n the property. In all holiday properties linen, excluding beach towels, is provided.
The contents of the property are solely for the use of the current occupiers, o n these premises and must not be removed. All services i.e. electricity, water, gas and pool maintenance are included in the price. Heating costs may be extra for winter lets. The facilities in the property are used at your own risk. Neither the property owner nor ourselves can be held responsible for death, personal injury or illness during your stay.
Guests are responsible for their own personal property at all times during their holiday, and should ensure that their holiday insurance contains adequate cover.Please ensure that none of your personal belongings are left in the property o n departure. We recommend that children are supervised at all times in and around the swimming pool.
Guests are responsible for leaving the property, together with all furniture and effects, clean and in good order and condition. The party leader undertakes to inform us of any damage to the accommodation or its contents caused during the holiday and is liable for replacing small items, such as cups, and to pay for any damage or missing items.
In accordance with our contracts with property owners, you will be required to pay a refundable security deposit of 150 euros, this is to be paid at the time your balance is due. This will be held to cover any breakages or damage to the property, should this not be adequate to cover such charges, it is a condition of booking that you pay any balance due immediately following notification.
Any deposit monies due to you will be returned within 21 days of your departure. We will notify you of any deductions if applicable.
PAYMENT Payments can be made via bank transfer or via credit or debit card Please note that there is a 1.8% surcharge for card payments
LAWS & JURISDICTION By booking your holiday accommodation with Sunflower Homes you agree to these terms and conditions of the contract and all matters arising from them, and are subject to Spanish law & specifically the current Urban Tenancy Act.
PROBLEMS OR COMPLAINTS If you should have a problem or complaint, please contact us so that remedial action, where possible can be taken.
